I'd have given five stars without hesitation if the service was faster. If time is an element, then call your order ahead. It's not fast food, but it is good food.
K & R is the kind of Mom & Pop restaurant that you hope to find. I've been there several times and ordered a variety of menu options. I've never had a disappointing meal. The catfish served on Friday nights is delicious. The BLT is the best I've had, with a thicker bacon and more of it. They make a grilled chicken salad that is fresh and plentiful.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere! Reasonably priced! Nice to have something local like this place. Ate there tonight for the first time but will be back!
